Players asked, we listened!

At some point it was clear that a big part of the EU/US player base would prefer the more simplistic older chapters such as Chapter 1 and we could not just ignore that as we also prefer a more simple War Rock experience without all the crazy characters and stuff, so we started working on Chapter 1 aka ‘Retro War’.

Bubble Has been slowly coding the CP1 server on the side, the server is much more simple so its not as challenging project as the newer clients. Minimalistic, Authentic and more Immersive experience, no immersion-breaking colourful characters and weapons. Community will heavily influence how we develop this Client, what kind of features they want to be added and so on. Its time to go back to the basics

Multi Chapter System

• This means we can have multiple different Chapters/Clients under 1 universal launcher.
• The plan is to have “Seasons” that are played across ALL the Clients and Chapters.
• Example. Season 1 could be played on Retro War/CP1 while Season 2 would be played on 2.0/CP3, or we could even have Season 1 on both simultaneously.
• Either way, each Chapter will also have its own Rankings on the website, 2.0 will also have basic rankings in-game, for migrated accounts.
• Each Season would focus on different Competitive Experience, with different rulesets to keep things fresh and to have something for each players preferences.
• Each Client will also have different content to cater for different kind of preferences. Something for everyone

Chapter 1 Beta Test is planned to be released on February

This is due to @bubble moving Country for a new job in January, so he wouldn’t have enough time for a January launch.

BUT if we can hit some Donation goals, Bubble could do a coding MARATHON to push out the CP1 Beta test earlier!

* Reach 150$ in donations = Bubble will do a coding Marathon to push out the Retro War Beta Test within the next 1-2 weeks

* Reach 300$ in donations = We will push out the Retro War OPEN BETA RELEASE THIS MONTH

* Reach 500$ in donations = Bonus: Everyone on Retro War will also start with a Random Retail!
